Terms of Service

Last updated 14 August 2026

This is a placeholder document provided so the product has a complete structure. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be replaced before the product is offered commercially.

Acceptance

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organization.

What the service does

ScrapIn helps you discover companies and the professional roles associated with them, qualify those leads, and export the results. It is a research and prospecting tool.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages in breach of applicable marketing or anti-spam law.
  • Process personal data without a lawful basis, or in breach of any applicable data-protection regime.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits or authentication of any service.
  • Resell or redistribute exported data in breach of the originating source's terms.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape or overload the platform itself.

Your responsibilities as a data controller

When you export contact information and use it to contact people, you act as a data controller for that processing. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, for honouring objections and erasure requests, and for complying with the marketing rules of the jurisdictions you contact.

Data accuracy

Information is supplied as observed from its sources, with its provenance and last-checked date attached. No warranty is made that any record is current, complete or accurate. Values marked as inferred or unverified are explicitly not represented as facts.

Third-party sources

The platform integrates authorised data sources. Your use of information originating from a third-party provider may additionally be governed by that provider's terms.

No affiliation

ScrapIn is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn Corporation or any other platform referenced in the product or its documentation. Names of third-party services are used only to describe the origin of information where relevant.

Plans, usage and limits

Usage is metered per organization per calendar month against the limits of your plan. Reaching a limit prevents further metered actions until the next period or a plan change.

Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. A data source becoming unavailable may degrade results; the platform reports such degradation rather than silently returning incomplete data.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or that presents a security risk.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated to account owners before they take effect.
